hey all
kinda forgot about LJ for a bit there!!
been busy working for graduation!!! i cant wait!! i dont wana be poor anymore!!

apart from nearly finishing at uni, everything is pritty much the same...

i'm still with steve, i still wana move out!, i'm still poor, and im still at essex uni!! lol!

pritty normal!!

although i would like to know when people are about for the summer....considering i havent had much of a chance to see many people over easter!!! let me know when ur back for the sun!!!

not much going on really, just been trying to keep up with all the uni reading, that are just so borring!!! i cant believe that they make us do HRM as a core subject is so crap, and i have to pass it or i dont graduate!!! fuckers!!!

anyway, apart from uni ive been sick this week and 2 weeks ago, i just seem to be sick all the time at the mo!! got some nasty coldy thing. doesnt really help when i gota do readings and drive in for 45mins to uni everyday. and i honestly think that essex uni is the coldest place to go!!! for somereason its always freezing there!! but still people are walking around like its mid summer or sumthing, i mean shorts and t-shirts!! freaks!! i think they must come from a really cold place and think its still hot or sumthing. 

steve and i have started our Discos now. did really well for our 1st one last friday, everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed themselves, and that they were surprised that it was our 1st one. so hopefully we will get a few more to do soon, its really fun. so if u know of anyone or want one urself just let me know. 

anyway i think thats all.

well our holiday last week was really amazing, we had a lovely time. 
on sunday we went to matlock bath and looked about and went to the theme park gullivers kingdom (bit small and crappy) and then we walked up the black rocks. At the top was really lovely, if a bit scary near the edge, we were so high up. 
Monday we went to buxton to pooles cavers, a really nice cave where there are all sorts of scientisty things going on. we had never seen anything quite like that cave before. Then we went to Bakewell to the markets and then back to buxton to do outdoor karting, was really good fun. and not to expencive. 
Tuesday was my 21st and we went to alton towers for the day, a little expencive as 29.50 each to get in, but was really worth it in the end as we had such a great time. 
Wednesday we went back to matlock bath to the hights of abraham which are cable cars that go up the side of a big cliff/mountain thingi, and there were such beautiful views there. there was also a cave to go in at the top, which wasnt a natural cave like pooles cavern, but a mining cave. was totally different, and a little scary when walking throught the tiny long corridor bits as they take 5 mins to get the the next open bit. <<<<< me in the cablecar
Thursday we visited dovedale, and walked along the river, it was really lovely there so picturesque, and calm. The stepping stones were funny, especially watching old people trying to get accross. heehee. <<<< us in dovedale
anyway we had lovely weather (if alittle hot) all week up untill friday, when it pissed down all day. so we went for a drive and had a pub meal, and played pool in the local pub. which was nice. 
And saturday we left early, home by 12. so it was a really good week.

This we i have been back to uni yesterday to sort out my time tables, and its so spaced out, but i do get thursdays off. :-) 
not really sure whats happening for the rest of the week. oh well.

Tributes paid to tragic friends

TRIBUTES have been paid to two best friends who were killed in a boating tragedy at a Suffolk reservoir.

The bodies of Martlesham chefs Lee Page and Nick Lloyd were both recovered from Alton Water, near Ipswich, on Monday after an 11-hour search.

They had been enjoying a barbecue on the beach and had taken out a Taz dinghy, which later capsized.

Mr Page, who is believed to be 18 and Mr Lloyd, 22, lived and worked at the Red Lion pub in Martlesham as trainee chefs.

Liz King, a former colleague at the pub, paid tribute to the boys and said she was deeply upset at the tragedy.

She said: “They were lovely boys, they really were. They were good lads who would do anything for anybody. They were best mates and typical teenagers.

“It's hard to believe I am not going to see their cheeky little faces anymore. “They were full of mischief, but good lads.”

The owner of the Red Lion, Heather Chandler, also spoke of her sadness at the tragedy.

She said: “Nick had been here for about five months and Lee for more than two years.

“I only took over three months ago but we work full-time and they both lived here and we live here and we saw them every day.

“They were both studying for NVQs. They were very, very close friends. It was always Nick and Lee, Lee and Nick.

“They were both really nice guys and were young and had a laugh.

“At this very sad time our thoughts and condolences are with their family and friends.”

A member of staff at Alton Water Sports Centre said workers were upset over the tragedy and that the centre would remain closed until Saturday.

Police officers investigating the accident believe alcohol may have played a part in the incident.

There is also said to be a lot of weed under the surface of the water, which could have made it difficult to swim.

The reservoir is regularly used by dinghy racers and windsurfers, but there is no unauthorised sailing during the hours of darkness.

Police have also issued a warning to the public in response to the accident

Inspector Tris Pepper, of Suffolk police said: “We hope that this tragic case will serve as a warning of the potential dangers of boating on rivers or lakes.”

well things are good, been alittle down in the past week or so, but things are looking to be getting better.
Was nice to see some people last night a my BBQ, had a laff. went to offord yesterday 2, saw the castle still looks crappy and borring.

People still up for comming to The red lion this saturday at about 6?? its my last day working there!! and i want 2 cellebrate. Nick whos a new chef at the pub already gave me a bottel of champagne for my leaving pressi!! NICE!! But ne way saturday night, i have a 50% voucher but i will only be about to let a few people use it as it does have an £80 limit, and last time we went over. but it would still be nice if people could make it. nice to have everyone in the same place for once. if you cant make it till later still come along, we should be there for a while. maybe all night depending on what people want to do.

anyway, must dash.

well im quite happy, my car doesnt look so broken any more, that big nasty dent and all the broken lights have been sorted!! the lights all work and are perfect, and the dent is now only about an inch long, rather than a Foot long!! lol. much better. all i have to do now, is get rid of the rest of the dent, fill the rusting part on the corner where they hit me, and then fill and colour the huge scratch that the pervious owner did!! but at least it looks presentable!

cut the grass around the kart tracks today, then bathed my dog, then cleared one of the 5 sheads in the garden, still have to do the others (by the way there was a sipder in that shead that gave me a heart atack, it looked really deadly, u know like the ones u see on TV, it really looked like it was gona kill me, so i squached it with a spade that i had handy!!), then i bathed the other 2 dogs, and now im writting this. it think all in all a pritty productive day!! : )

im all sorted with the house, ive paid the deposit, met the land lady,signed contracts and just paid the 1st months rent in advance!! YAY!! at least thats sorted. im really excited about moving in, if a little worried that although i really like the people im moving in with, it still occurs 2 me that ive only met them a handfull of times. i just hope ive got them peged right! fingers crossed!!

when is every1 back????? although people are here i havent really heard much from most, so just wondered if any1 else is about.

on saturday the 25th, its my last day at work for the red lion, wondered if people wanted to come have another evening like a couple of fridays ago?? half price food and drink. prob the same number of people as we went over the £80 as it was. it would be nice to see people again. and maybe as its saturday Ixer maybe able to join us rather than being sooooo wonderfully musical like last time!

any way, just a thought....

this week has been quite good i supose, ive been doing lots of work on the farm, not 2 bad, went shopping monday, was a good day out.
today i dont know wot im going to do, i have nothing untill 2night when im going out with people to th lion. i cant wait, new 'tropical punch' a whole pitcher for me i think!!! lol!! i cant wait untill hanna orders fanjitas!!! lol!!! im really looking forward to seeing everyone.
jamie took me out drinking with his m8s last night, was quite fun. and ive decided crap jokes, especially about noddy, sound much better when intoxicated!! lol. i had a really gr8 time tho, wish we could have stayed out longer tho, but jamie needs to get up really early for work.
he'll b back at 5, and im looking forward to seeing him already!!!
waiting for the post man atm, brought star wars 4,5,6 box set, just waiting for it 2 arrive!! YAY!!!

saturday night was the best night of my life, i had such a lovely time with jamie, he really made an effort to make everything perfect. and the meal was fantastic. the gifts he got for me are really nice, including a neon phone for my house next year!!! its soooo cool!!

star wars 3 is amazing, even tho there were a few moments of bad acting. the funniest part when vader does the classic bady 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' lol. i was plesently suprised that not only yoda opens his can of woop ass, But R2D2 opens his 2!!!

im not sure what im doing today, maybe go 2 town and do some shopping. much needed clothes shopping i think. lots of things i need to buy. yay!! not sure if ne 1s free 2 meet me, but i'll just have to wait and see.

So far, friday the 27th looks like it will be starting around 5-5.30pm, doesnt matter when u can make it just come find us. the situation with my voucher is that i can get £40 off the bill, so if we all have food, and drinks on one bill it should make it a lot cheaper for everyone. depends on how many people come along.

im really excited about this saturday, its going to be gr8, at 2-5 i will be doing my last exam, and have 4 months of holiday to look forward to, and also i when i get home jamie is taking me out for a romantic meal, to celebrate our annervsary (which was last saturday), and also to cellebrate my last exam. im so exctied i have a new skirt, belt and top, i look fabby in it. i cant wait!

things are still going well, and my exam on monday morning was really quite ok. the only problem was that i got really hungry during the 3 hours. thankgod i finished early and left after 2 hours 15mins. i have another exam tomorrow moring, accounting and finance this time, little bit worried about the finance side, too many equations to remember. and then i finish on saturday afternoon with quantitive methods and IT, should be interesting, i think im ok with the IT stuff, but not a clue about the QM. bit worried. but hey.

friday the 27th pub meal is sounding really gr8, nice that so many people want to come.

oh dear, all this work is really starting to get on my nerves. well only another week or so of it, i cant believe im finished uni by next saturday!! its so odd knowing i have only to earn money and have a gr8 time untill october!! that makes me happy, but next week brings 9 hours of exams!! and im not that confident!
this saturday is jamie and my year anniversary, im really happy!! it seems that for once everything is going well in my life! and im roling in the blisfulness, because u know something is going to break this good feeling. probably my exams, but hey!
ive handed my notice in at the pub, yay! my last shift is saturday the 25th of june!! i cant wait! i really have had enough of that place after a year and 8 months!
im really excited about moving out, especially now iv spent more time with my house m8s. they are lovely and just as i suspected just as weird and geeky as me!! yay!

im hoping to get 2gether with everyone after the 22nd so i can catch up with people, ive not spent much time with some ppl, and im starting to feel bad, i really miss people, and i would like to know if they are up for a 50% meal at a pub??? on maybe fri 27th?? up 2 u guys!

thats all for now, more work to do, plus its neally food time!! and its starting to smell gr8!!

well zest on monday was amazing, im so happy that all my house m8s had such a lovely time. i had a really gr8 night, i dont think im going to drink that much for a while. but white chocolate corkies is lovely!! im so happy that so many ppl could come!! it was really gr8, even if i didnt go in the scary foam. but at least i didnt end up cold and blue red etc!! stupid foam making all the dye run!! adri had red feet from his shoes!! lol!
yesterday, we managed to get every1 lifts back to the station. i think they made it back ok. ne way, im so happy!! im looking foward to moving in with all the gr8 people ive found, and im so happy that they like jamie, and hanna!! YAY!! everything is wonderful!!

back at uni finally. but 3 exams isnt much of a welcome back on their behalf. :(

on a different note. jamies car looks fantastic! union jack and everything! wispa has a new very comfy bed. and im happy! im back at uni, im having fun and im in love!!! YAY!!! oh and i have a cheese baguette....also very yummy!!

yesterday i went to felixstowe and had a really nice day. however, i must say every service that we used was second rate!!! we went to the market and there really wasnt much there, and it was packed with old ladies in sexy high heals that they cant walk straight in! we then went to a cafe, where we had second rate service, we had to collect our meals our self, i had to wait 5 mins for knives and folks!!, and the chips wernt cooked, and the burger was very small!! after this we went in search of a mr wippy ice creame, we could only find scoped ice cream in a cone!! lame!! this was very lame!!! but all in all made it a very entertaining day for us all (jamie, myself, hanna, and shelly) and the weather was fantastic!! stupid weather man saying it was going to rain!! he knows nothing!!

well the past few days have been ok, i was pritty much doing nothing apart from working at the pub and sleeping from thursday to sunday night!! and monday i felt really ruff, i had a head ache and couldnt stand up and so spend an entire day in bed drifting in and out of sleep. was quite worried that something major was wrong, as iv never not been able to stand up b4. ne way, today i feel much better if a little tired. i really miss everyone, ive not seen many people for a long time, and i still have this week off! i dont start uni untill monday!! but i do have 3 major exams to revise for that are all next week. so that should keep me busy when im not out.
Jamie got me a new wind chime for my room. its really nice, it makes pritty sounds! and the best thing about it, it has a moo cow at the top!! hee hee! much better than the other ones i have, much more interesting! i dont know why he got it for me, maybe just coz he missed me last week most probably. but yay! a moo cow!!

oh yeh, on sunday at about 6, once i had finished working at the pub, i had a sudden urge to cycle! thats very odd for me as most people know. i dont know wot came over me, but i found my bike, and cycled to walderingfield and back! made me feel good about myself, and made me realsise that im not that out of shape. but that was another thing that made me wonder if i was really ill. i never get the urge to do something like that.

im hoping that maybe this sunday jamie and i will go to thorpness and go rowing! that would be exciting, i just hope the weather is nice, and that i dont drink to much saturday night. :)

im looking forward to starting back at uni, apart from the exams, and the nasty feeling that im neally already a 3rd of the way thru my uni course!! this time next year it will be like ive neally finished!! arggg!! time goes so quickly!!

i should go and do some ecocnomics revision before i forget and fail next week!

1:57PM - HAPPY

well my trip to York with sarah was amazing, we left sarahs at 12.30ish on tuesday, and i drove all the way there with sarah map reading, we arrived at about 4.45, which wasnt so bad, how ever i was really tired and had a head ache from all the driving. but sarah unpacked and then we went to her m8s to get a pizza and watch a film. we spent ages deciding where to order pizza from but eventually we ordered and it all arrived, however, the pizza was most interesting, it was quite cold, and was stuch firmly to the lid of the pizza box. the onion rings that we also ordered were deep fried goooooynss! but we ate as much as we could stomach.
then we watched about a boy, well i didnt watch much of it as i was asleep. but about 11, we went back to sarahs to get ready for bed and blow up my new air bed.
the next morning, sarah had an exam at 9.30, so left quite early, leaving me half asleep. i watched kids tv for most of the morning, and some strange people came and cleaned sarahs room for us. sarah came back about 12.30 i think, and we got ready to go in to town shopping. it was quite nice weather when we got in to town not too hot but not cold. we got some nice sausage roles from the bakery and a really large iced bun each! yummy!! and then we went looking for nice clothes etc to buy. we found a book shop that had most things reduced by 80%, brought mum a jigsaw for 2.99 and granny a book about the queen for 2.00, bargain! i think sarah got a book 2. then we went looking in a few random shops, found a souvenier shop, that where i got jamie a model mini, the lady in the shop told us about her only experience in a mini, apparently they had a crash and there wasnt much left of the mini in the end. bit worrying. but hey. then we had a look at the York minster, very pritty buiding, nothing like it in Ipswich. more like the pritty places in London. after this we went and tried on almost every pair of sunglassed in DP. And it started to Rain!!! but not to much, so we carried on shopping, we went looking for shoes for sarah, and we went in to the Disney shop. i wanted to buy everything!! ended up with a very cute and cuddely eeyore pillow!! yay!! by this time it was chucking it down!! we ran to the bus stop and luckely didnt have to wait long. but once at our stop we had a 5min walk. we got soaked!!! so had to get changed. That night we went out for a meal with sarahs m8s. shelly, katie, lucy, and John. they are all really nice. then after our meal we went to a cocktail bar called the evil eye, i had a 'heaven', had like chocolate, bailies, chocolate, and cream, and more chocolate!! was really nice, however a bit musch for me, couldnt finish it!! grr!
then we went to another pub, there was a 90 odd year old man on a walking stick singing really really loudly!!! hee hee!!
once we got back to the uni we satyed up talking for along time, not sure wot about, but hey. then in the morining, we packed my car up and i left about 10.30.
on my trip home i stoped for BK 10 miles from cambridge at about 1, and got chatted up by an ugly foreign man serving me, lol. but he did give me extra chips coz i was waiting for so long! lol. then i went past the suffolk sign at 1.58 and guess what??? It started to CHUCK IT DOWN!! its like it was only raining in the boundarys of suffolk! lol. ne way i got in about 3.10. and went to sleep. jamie came over about 5, and i had to be at work for 6. i was so tired but i was at work untill 10ish. i went to sleep as soon as i got in and slept right thru till 10 this morning. still quite tired but not too bad. i have to work tonight, tomorrow, and sunday. grr!! but a least i'll get a bit more money at the end of the month now.
